Good cover & insulation!
This fits the BougueRV fridge perfectly, protects it and provides another option for carrying the fridge around. I love the pockets on it. I have the cords in one set and use the others for napkins or other handy items when traveling with the fridge.
The insulation factor isn’t huge but it really does help keep the fridge from having to run as frequently. The vents are open and once you put this on you don’t have to remove it for use in the house or vehicle because the power connection is also available while the cover is on.
The material is really nice and strong. I carried the full fridge with the straps multiple times over a 4 day weekend (in and out of the vehicle etc) and never felt like it was unsafe or flimsy. It just works well and I am sure it will protect the fridge on my offroad Jeep runs as well as on road trips around the country.
Honestly I was hesitant with the cost, but am glad I spent the money on this cover. I recommend it to anyone with one of these fridges, especially if you are in a warm climate like me!

Good Value, noisy compressor
I received the fridge and followed the manual’s suggestion to let it sit upright for 24 hours. I placed 12 canned drinks, in two 6-packs, along with a wireless thermometer to monitor the temperature. The drinks were at room temperature, and I set the fridge temperature to 35 degrees Fahrenheit. It took about 24 hours to cool everything to the 35-degree mark, with the compressor turning on and off about 5-6 times per hour. Once it reached 35 degrees, it was able to maintain that temperature by turning on the compressor only about 3-4 times per hour. This was indoors at a room temperature of about 69 degrees, and I had the case/cover on the fridge. It ran fine for 12 hours before suddenly turning off overnight (as seen in the picture, the temperature spiked when it shut off). After plugging it back in, I let it run for the rest of the week, and it continued to maintain a good temperature range based on the 35-degree setting. However, after about 2 days, the compressor started making a knocking sound when it turned on. It would knock for about 60-90 seconds before getting quieter. I sent a message to customer service, and they said it was normal, but I’m not sure I agree. While it’s not a big deal when using it indoors, if I had it in a small camper or vehicle while trying to sleep, it would definitely be distracting every time it turned on. Overall, I think it’s a fair value assuming it holds up. There is a 2-year warranty, and they offer an additional year if you register on their website. I was torn between this model and the Iceco 20qt model, but this one has a slightly larger internal volume, allowing you to stack 2 12oz cans vertically, which the Iceco does not. Overall, I think this fridge will meet my needs, and while I can’t speak to its reliability after only having it for 2 weeks, the loud compressor knocking would have me considering an Iceco or a different brand with a higher-end compressor.

nice cover, but…
I appreciate the concept behind this cover, but I’ve got a couple of reservations. First, the fit isn’t as snug as the pictures suggested. And that velcro around the lid? It’s pretty noisy and adds a few extra seconds to access the fridge. While it doesn’t seem to block the vents outright, it does obstruct them slightly. I’m a bit concerned about how it’ll perform on a super hot day.
The pockets add to its bulkiness, though I suppose they’re handy for storing charging cables. While the description claims it protects from scratches – which I can see, given the BougeRV fridge’s glossy plastic surface – I do question the value proposition. I adore the fridge, truly game-changing. But shelling out over a third of the fridge’s cost for this cover? Given its build, it feels a bit steep.

So far so good.
This is great for helping keep the fridge cool when it is really hot in the car. I also love the convenience of all the pockets to store the cables.
I have not been carrying the fridge using the handles on this so I dont know how well they will hold up to 30+lbs weight.
I do use the handles to tie down the fridge.

Nice freezer and cover
After a few adjustments the freezer worked great and the cover kept it nicely insulated and easy to carry.

Missing straps
Item was not shipped with straps as shown throughout most of the product photos. This, according to reviews, appears to be a somewhat frequent issue for many customers. Iâve contacted the manufacturer and Iâll update the review if they actually arrive. Quality of the bag is ok, but for the price of the bag I expect it to have straps.
Update: after reaching out to the company, they shipped 1 pathetic plastic buckle strap which wasnât even designed to connect to the corner rings on the bag. The plastic connectors wonât even connect as they are both male ends! Even if you were able to connect it, itâs so thin that it would easily break with any weight in the fridge or cut into your shoulder/hand while lifting. The product photos show two wide color-matched shoulder length straps with metal connectors. If you order this you simply wonât get what you paid for.

The case fits easily over the freezer, it comes off easily, it’s easy to clean and definitely helps maintain the temp. Glad I bought it.

Pros: This cover fits the Bouge RV 23L refrigerator very well, and protects it’s surface and provides extra insulation, while not impeding cooling or access to the handles. The four big pockets easily carry the AC adaptor, DC power cord, and the cords for our solar panel.
Cons: on the second use, a buckle on one of the carrying straps broke. Bouge RV, we need a replacement strap!
