Great Scoring Blade!
My husband is new to the world of baking his own sourdough breads and I wanted to make sure he was properly prepared. I’m so happy that I got him this scoring blade. He’s used it multiple times and has commented a few times on how having the longer handle allows him to properly see where he’s scoring without having his knuckles in his hand blocking his view. He also likes that it has a storage case so that he doesn’t have to worry about it getting damaged if one of our roommates or kids is helping in the kitchen. The replacement blades have yet to have been used, but he’s already discovered that it won’t take long to swap the blade when need be.

Useful Tool!
I’d like to make bread at home, and this tool is a must for bread making. The package comes with a scoring knife, 10 razor blades, and 2 finger sleeves for safety. The 10 razor blades can last for a long time for amateur bread baking like me. There is a box to store the tool when it is not in use. The razor blade is very sharp for precise scoring on the bread, and creating beautiful crusts when the bread is baked. The knife with wooden handle is easy to hold, and again, for safety purpose. I am happy with this tool.

Nice kit and storage
I have been making sourdough for years but I’ve never had a lame I liked, so often skip the scoring step. This lame is nice, lots of extra blades, with a nice handle that is easy to hold. The case is fantastic and I like that it keeps all the parts together. I prefer using this handle over the tiny finger held blades like others. This is a very nice set.
