KEEN women’s Targhee 3 Low Height Waterproof Hiking Shoes

Crazy comfy
I don’t even like taking these shoes off. I feel better with them on. I live in Northwest Wisconsin and we didn’t have snow this winter, which is crazy (until a blizzard that’s coming our way tomorrow for the next 3 days 😵). I ordered these shoes for a hearty winter-to-spring transition walking shoes. Boots don’t have the right walking quality or support, sneakers are too light for the season. These Keens are it. I ordered a size 7 because I’m always a size 7. I feel they are at least 1/2 size too big, but that’s only when I wear light socks with them. With my wooly socks, they fit pretty well. But I love the comfort and structure of these shoes so much (even in the ankle area) that I want to be able to wear them in the summer with lighter socks, but I think I’d have to order a 6-1/2 for that. The traction on these Keens is phenomenal. I love the reflective material because I walk my pups in the evening. I wish I would have had these when I visited Europe a few years back. We walked Soo much that my toes/feet bled. The front toe box area of these are Soo roomy that your toes don’t crowd each other. They are the best footwear I’ve ever worn. 🙆🏼‍♀️❤️👞

Great Hiking Shoes
I usually wear a women’s size 7, but had to exchange these for a 6.5, which fits perfectly. So far I’ve only tried them out around the house, but they’re very comfortable, with a lot of room in the toe box. I also think they’re really nice looking, although I may be strange in that regard. 😉 I’ll be doing some hiking in Ireland in late spring/early summer and hope they serve me well! I’ll update this review if that doesn’t pan out (or pans out spectacularly).TL;DR: Great shoes, but SIZE DOWN 1/2 a size!

Lightweight and Waterproof
I ordered these for a trip to CO in December. They exceeded expectations!! First off the fit was great and the traction walking in the snow was perfect. My feet stayed warm and dry. This design is so much lighter than my other hiking boots so they’re great for travel. Also style is nice and streamlined and you can wear them with jeans out too.

Run .5 big, OK but some issues
PRO:1) Comfortable width and materials2) Waterproof3) Easy to remove insole and replace with orthotic4) Protective of feet with rubber toe and strong material5) Some ankle support, more than most low hiking bootsCON:1) Run .5 big in length, don’t order up like usual. I did and the boot became too big and my foot slips around too much. Re-ordered in my normal size.2) Will be a bit tight at first, but loosen up within a week a great deal.3) Sole does not protect against rough, hard terrain and rocks enough, I can feel too much and after hiking for awhile it can start to hurt. Sole not rigid enough, bends too much after breaking in.Wish Keen would make a waterproof Voyageur because that is their best boot for me, but its not waterproof.

No blisters to break them in. Plenty of room for my toes. Comfortable and have arc support. Waterproof. Delivered quickly. Fit as expected. Would 1000% buy these again. I had keens in the past that were my favourite shoes and lasted 3 years.
