Best Pants for Travel.
Libin Women’s Pants are the best pants for travel. The pants are: light weight, quick drying, provide UPF 50 protection; are water proof, and have loads of pockets. The fabric feels like a dream unlike other fabrics for travel that can feel a bit plastic-like. The price ($34) was half the price for similar pants at REI.These pants are perfect for warm weather. It will be easy to slip silk long johns (or panty hose) under the pants for colder weather. The fit is true. I love the elastic waist which is forgiving. One can push up the legs for a capri look. Black is most versatile color for traveling lightly.Since Libin Women’s Pants are vastly superior to my other travel pants, I purchased a second pair even though my travel wardrobe was complete. Who knows? These pants could become everyday pants.

Comfortable!
These are a very relaxed fit. They are baggy and slightly long for my 5â4âframe. I can gather them up at the ankles, which is fine. The blue color I chose is pretty. I am 145 lbs. so I chose a large which fits fine. These are well made and just as I expected. I will buy more. They wash well and dry fast.

comfy, lightweight and fashionable
i love these pants so much that i give them as gifts as well! they are perfect for those in between weather days of cool mornings and hot afternoons. lots of pockets, and very comfy. the only downside is if u put ur iphone in the waist side pocket the weight of the phone tends to drag ur pants off ur waist when u walk, and if u put it in the pocket by the knee that problem is gone, but then it bangs against ur knee. im someone who never carries a purse, so if a bit of an annoyance but not horrible. if u carry ur phone/wallet in a purse, the pants will be perfect for u!!
Product has good utility. It performed well especially when packing for an Alaskan cruise. Have used the larger size to store blankets and quilts and they are staying flat, thus creating space. –
Good long pants
Fabric is lightweight and has a good hand feel. Fabric does not wrinkle easily. Good for spring/summer/fall seasons. True to size according to size chart. Waist pockets are zippered. Cargo pockets have velcro closure. Be sure to close velcro pockets before washing. Pants wash and dry nicely. Pants dry quickly. Pants have a knitted cuff at ankles. I suspicion these pants would be hot in tropical type weather, despite fact they dry quickly. Charcoal gray is a true steel gray.

Great travel pants!
I used these for a recent 11-day trip to Europe that included both city exploration and rural hiking. These pants are FANTASTIC for travel – they’re adaptable for both city and country wear: they can be dressed up to be trendy and stylish in cities and are all extremely functional as activewear. They can be washed easily in a hotel sink and they dry quickly (except waist and ankle bands, but those are thick for great wearability). They were extremely comfortable for planes/busses and they weigh next to nothing so pack easily. I highly recommend!

Okay but not as great as I’d hoped
I read about these in an article about travel and I decided to give them a try. Normally, I wear 511s because they have all kinds of pockets so I don’t have to carry a purse. But 511s are not quick to dry so they are a little difficult to wash when traveling. These slacks looked like they would have all the good pockets of 511s but be quicker and easier to wash and dry when traveling. I also liked the cuffed ankles because they make it a lot easier to tuck my slacks into boots and I wear boots a lot.Overall, these slacks fit well and are very comfortable. They are also made out of a quick dry fabric so they are super easy to wash by hand and then dry overnight. But…The pockets. Sigh. Yes, they have a lot of pockets. But they are not good pockets. With my 511s, I tuck soft things into the normal pockets so they don’t dig into me when I sit, and then I use the pockets on the thighs for my wallet and cell phone. Perfect. While these slacks have similar pockets, they are placed super awkwardly. If I put my wallet or cell phone in the pockets on the thighs, the pockets are so deep that my wallet and cell phone are slamming into my knees each time I take a step. And if I put the phone or wallet in the top zipper pockets, I can’t sit down without them digging into me.My only solution was to sew a seam in the thigh pockets about an 1.5″ up from the bottom, thereby creating a new pocket bottom. The pockets are still deep enough for my cell phone in one and the wallet in the other, but they don’t beat me up and slam into my knee with each step. My cell phone does come up to the top of the pocket, but it does fit and actually, it can fit in sideways which means it isn’t right up at the top of the pocket anyway. Then I just use the zipper pockets for things like a handkerchief or other soft objects that aren’t going to dig into me.Honestly, I had great hopes that I could replace my 511s with these slacks, but…no. These slacks are a little more comfortable as they move well and aren’t as stiff, but when there are heavy things like wallets or cell phones in the pockets, they can beat me up unless I modify the pockets and that’s just kind of annoying. I looked at the construction of the pockets on the 511s and they are made higher up on the thigh to avoid objects slamming the knee with each step. It does mean that more care has to be taken when constructing the slacks because the thigh pockets do overlap the regular pockets on the 511s so they can’t just be willy-nilly sewn on the way they are on these slacks to keep both sets of pockets free. I’m sure that that extra work (i.e. avoiding that extra work) is why these slacks have the pockets placed the way they are as the sewing and construction is more straightforward with less chance of the thigh pocket sewing overlapping the construction of the upper pocket (you can tell that I’ve actually sewn my own clothing before…) so this is really just laziness by the manufacturer. In the end, I’ll wear these slacks because I’ve modified them to make them work (more-or-less) for me by sewing new bottoms on the thigh pockets, but I shouldn’t have had to do that and I won’t be buying any more of these. If you are buying these because of the pockets and the desire to stop carrying a purse, you may want to reconsider that unless you are very long-legged. Or else you may need to consider sewing new bottoms on the thigh pockets like I had to do. Or maybe it’s just that I’m the only one who has the issue of the cell phone battering my knee with every step if it’s in the unmodified thigh pocket.

OK, hear me out…
Do the elastic cuffs look a little goofy? Indeed, they do.But! When you consider the protection from poison ivy and ticks, it sure beats tucking your cuffs in your socks, and even if you want to tuck in the cuffs, its easier with the elastic there. The fabric is so much lighter and more breathable than jeans, and dries quickly enough that you can hose off dirt or fully wash and wear them again in the same day without needing the dryer. Durability is great: I’ve washed/worn one pair at least a dozen times now and all the sturdy pockets come in handy for some of my garden projects where I’m carrying around a few tools, the phone, even a water bottle will fit in the leg pocket without getting stretched out. Pair these with some Farmer Defense “sleeves” and you’ve got a way to keep cool, coverdd, and protected from the elements. Runs true to size

I now own 3 pairs of these pants. They are comfortable. They are wonderfully cool in the ugly heat. I wear these for anything and everything. I just hang to dry and haven’t had to use an iron. (little wrinkles disappear when wearing).AND it’s great if you spill something on them. I just took a wet paper towel to clean off chocolate ice cream & when dry nothing there. These pants dry super fast. Feel free to get them wet with water fun.The two large pockets are perfect for walking my dog. One pocket for each of us leaves me hand free. Not a fan of velcro closure. Bonus: pet hair can just be brushed off with your handI am 5′ 2″ and Size Medium fits perfectly. In the size chart there was very little difference between the Medium and Large. I also ordered a Large for layering in the colder weather. The Large size fits without layering. The waist is too large requiring constant adjustment.Campfire People: Note: the second a spark lands on these pants it burns a hole in material.

These are great. Very lightweight so good for the warmer weather if you donât want heavy walking trousers. I am 5â7â, 9.9 stone and took a Small. They come up quite roomy and the measurements shown are accurate, the medium seemed to be very big in the hips. Zipper pockets all round, not the deepest and because of the trousers being so lightweight, I think a big phone will drag them down so my phone will have to go elsewhere. Nice contrast of grey zipper details. There was a negative comment I read saying no belt loops, thatâs because these are joggers, if you want heavy duty hiking trousers, this isnât them. These look cute, have good stretch and are waterproof and super comfy.
