Work very well I have several cams set up wo watch the animals on a large property. These solar screens cut back on the cost of batteries. I have never had to replace one of these on over two Years they stand up to all the bad weather and work great. I just bought 5 more to set up on my indoor cams with threw wall wiring. Great product.
Great It works great. Living in Florida the heat drains the batteries extremely quickly. With the solar adapter there is no need for batteries and no more downtime.
One didn’t work I installed the solar panels and it was fairly easy. Came with all the hardware. No instructions in the packaging. After installation I noticed one panel wasn’t providing power to a camera. I used a different camera and it still didn’t work. Had to uninstall it and put up another one in it’s place. Now I’m short a panel. I would return it but that would require me to uninstall all the panels and that’s to much work especially in the heat. I’m disappointed that I got a defective panel. As for the functionality, they work. You have to take the batteries out of the camera first and the only reason I knew that was because it was on the Amazon description. Again no instructions in the kit. The cameras powered right up and they seem to function like normal. If you choose to buy this kit, let the panels charge in the sun for a bit then test each one on a camera before installation. If it wasn’t for the 1 defective panel, I would have gave this 5 stars.
4.5 based on initial impression UPDATE 5 STAR BOUGHT MORE …will update… WORK JUST AS A CORD SO NOW I HAVE BATTERIESIN AS A BACKUP BUT EVEN MY ORIGINAL ONES WITH NO BATTSHAVE PERFORMED WELL EVEN AT NIGHT, EVEN WITH ALL OURCLOUDY DAYS….ðððððset up 2 of the 4 so far on my furthest cams ( therefore work the hardest to reach signal ofcwifi and module )RIGHT OUTA BOX, had enough juice to run cams..so was impressed at that…been a few hrs and seem to trigger similarly to when on reg cord..Snapshot is ever so slightly slower..ill be interested to see how they perform w full day of sun..and how it will hold power over night and after cloudy days..Im optimistic bout it though bc my newer ( last 5yrs) solar lights do pretty well…Only gripe is no INSTRUCTIONS ..i mean pretty obvious set up but some solars suggest full day in sun before use..And OTHER CAM SOLARS said to remove batteries first..i did do that..and it was good to test bc i know solar is only source of power…though id like to be able to use as a back up ð¤·ââï¸Will update..today is mar 12 ’23..Very happy so far..On a side note, reason i went this route is my ext cord out to my cam cords which were on an ipx strip caught fire..prob the ext cord but i think ill feel better w these on solar..and at least the panel is all black and not too huge..I used on gen x2 and 3rd gen..

That they work and last
The very small but theyâre nice. Itâs not oversized. They go perfect with the camera.
