Works with Wyze Outdoor Cam V2! This solar panel so far has kept my Wyze outdoor cam v2 charged at 100%. Works to charge cellphones too! Pretty good solar panel for the price!
Bought 2 Bought 2 and a USB Splitter.Came in Handy twice already ðKept my phone charged while doing my yard work. Not a Fast Charge, but it works. It also charges my Emergency Battery. If your hiking, these will charge yourE-Battery and your Phone will Never Die.
Great customer service Had these sitting in direct sunlight for 2 days and they do absolutely nothing. How can you get 2 in a pack and both of them not work??”Update” After customer service contacted me. They sent 2 new panels and both work perfectly. Nice to get customer service these days.
Their listing on Amazon gave me the info I needed to know they would work… I ordered these solar panels because in the place where I had positioned my new surveillance camera, getting to the charging port would be difficult. A reasonably-priced solar panel would be best. The two panels came with a Y cable that was a USB A type. I ordered a 15 ft. extension cable that was USB A at one end, and male USB C at the other. That way I could spend the time arranging and connecting a cable once, and after that not need to touch the camera. When I plugged in the panels, the camera was at 76% charge. It was an overcast morning, but cleared up a bit. By afternoon the camera reported a 98% charge. Without the panels, I think I would have to charge the camera once a week. Now I doubt I’ll ever have to touch it.Alas, last night my wife still had to go out and push a chicken into the coop to close the door, but at least she will know when she DOESN’T have to. It is a kick to watch the girls (chickens) march into the coop of their own accord, just before the door is programmed to close, from the comfort of our own bed.
Drawing energy out of device I pluged my phone into this and lost 2% charge in about a minute and a half. I downloaded Accubattery app to get some insight. Charge rate was showing negative wattage on the charge and that I lost 4 milliamp hours of battery life in less than 5 minutes of being plugged in. In full direct Las Vegas sunlight I could get it up to zero for a few seconds but I can get that simply by unplugging. From all the good reviews I assume I got a bad unit.
Will not restart after shade or night If the panel sees dark, it will not charge when light returns. Must disconnect then reconnect panel for it to start charging again. So, put them up in the day, no problem. Stops at night but then will not charge again when full sunlight returns without unplugging device then reconnecting it.
Hard to not like Got this to help the battery on my smart bird feeder not drain so quick, but so far it’s been able to fully charge it so I will never need to worry about it again. For the price, quality and ease of use, I’m very impressed.I work with a lot of bigger solar systems so I was not expecting much from this little thing but it’s so far been working great this last week or so.
Bought to power a small fan…says 6w but then 5w …The 3w fan spins ok with full full sun on it but slows is Med light …oh well . The shipping was pathetic, just an envelope…I’m considering it lucky it arrived intact vs it’s durability potential being glass …
Funciona a la perfeccion, no esperes una carga rapida porque para eso esta la toma de corriente pero en unas cuantas horas te carga el movil al 100% y gratis.
I tested this and it gave 6 W is direct sunlight at mid day when held perpendicular to the sun. Flat or vertical will give about 2-4 W, and on overcast days will give basically nothing. Don’t expect it to charge your phone very fast, even on the best day. But it does give the 6 W as advertised. My only complaint is that the snap shackles that came with the product don’t fit through the holes in the solar panel, which is very stupid oversight.
