This lasko fan is a beast! This lasko fan is a total beast! It does a fantastic job of thoroughly and powerfully circulating air so well that it has any area I use it in in my home cooked down in seconds! My guests all brag on the look and performance and are envious and want one of their own. Its super easy to assemble, the base is very heavy which is great so that it won’t fall over if it gets bumped into! It has easy to use touch buttons and comes with a remote control,a timer, and it isn’t bulky and is perfect for those individuals who have limited space! I love the sleek design and the style of fan!
Sturdy fan tower that doesn’t tip easily I have several tower fans from Lasko and have been using them for years. I broke the base of one when I was moving it to storage last year. It was one I’d had a while and I had been rough with it so I wasn’t surprised. I’ve been happy with the quality of Lasko fans so I decided to get a similar one to replace the one I broke. When I came across this, I decided to get it as an upgrade from what I’d previously had. This is an excellent tower fan and it is definitely an upgrade from my old one. The base is weighted so it will be harder for me to knock it over when I stumble. It feels really sturdy, too. The central pole that the fan sits atop is metal. It adds to the weight and sturdiness of the fan and works with the weighted base to make it less likely to get tipped. It is very easy to put this fan together. It comes in 4 pieces plus a remote control. I didn’t use the one page instructions as the pieces fit together in a very intuitive way. You can tell just from looking at them how it all goes together and it only takes a couple of minutes to get it all set up and plugged in. The fan is quiet and puts out a good amount of air. I have it in my bedroom and it was easy to adjust the height so that it pointed directly at where I lay when I am in bed. The quietness of the fan very much appreciated because it is in my bedroom. This is an excellent fan and I am so happy I upgraded from my old one. Lasko has been making great products for years and this is the best one I have bought from them so far.
Solid Build Quality, Super Quiet, Could Be A Little More Powerful. This is a review for a Lasko elevation tower fan. I have been an owner of Lasko air purifiers and fans in the past and have been satisfied with their quality. This tower fan is no different. This fan is heavier than most weighing in at just over 10 pounds. The reason for that is the steel pole which you use to raise and lower the fan makes it heavier and also makes its sturdier. Installation required no tools. The bottom pieces snap together. Getting the pole to loosen up took a bit of an effort, but it freed itself and I was able to adjust the height to my liking. It takes around 5 or 10 minutes to set everything up and then you are ready to go. The remote is fairly easy to operate. It is a little wonky with its range, sometimes it works without issue and sometimes it takes an effort to get it moving. Once the fan is moving you will only notice it is on when you feel the breeze because it is beyond whisper quiet. They have the noise cancellation dialed in and I could not imagine a quieter fan. The power is good but not overwhelming. It has 4 different speeds, but it will only reach around six feet from the fan which is a bit disappointing. I thought it would have a longer range, but the quality of the air coming out is good. It can oscillate, has a timer, a sleep timer, a sleep mode, you can turn the LED screen off for sleep and it will even display the current temperature in the room which is great. I love the little notch in the back to hold the remote control, what a great idea. It does have a bit of plastic smell after opening it up out of the box. I put it outside to air our and I have not had any smells or issues after running the fan constantly for days. The adjustable height feature is very unique, the fan is sturdy, super quiet, the remote is not always accurate and the fan could have a bit more power, but it is a quality fan and the price is right about what you would expect for a name brand of this size and features.
Very quiet operation, loads of features I have other Lasko fans still in use after years of service that I like very much, and this fan looks to be of similar quality. It is nearly inaudible on the lowest speed, and even on the highest it’s not intrusive to conversation or TV watching. I like that it displays the room temperature, and the functions on the integrated control panel atop the unit are duplicated on the remote, which hangs from a handy hook at the back so it’s not misplaced. It was three minute’s work to assemble and not a stretch of anybody’s intellect to operate without so much as a glance at the instructions, but familiarizing yourself with that single page of clearly written information makes using its many options second nature. The height adjusts easily from 42″ to 53,” but fear not, the heavy, weighted base and metal pipe upon which the fan sits (securely) prevent any accidental toppling. Its appearance is sleek and contemporary, it’s easy to operate, wonderfully adjustable, programmable, and effectively moves air around the room. And it’s VERY quiet. I couldn’t be happier with it. Thanks for reading my review. I hope it was helpful to you. Stay cool!
really nice fan!! This is a really nice tower fan. The instructions it came with were easy to follow, although it says the base will “click” together and I even stood on it trying to get a click but never heard/felt one. The pole to adjust height is also a little finicky. you’ll really want to make sure its very tight or it will fall down. The only complaint I had was that when in oscillate mode, it made a “click” noise every time it turned to the right. Luckily, after a couple days of use, that stopped. There are so many modes to choose from, and 4 levels of speed. The remote is very handy as you can do everything with the remote that you can with the controls on top. The only thing I wish is that there were another “night” mode that dims the display but doesn’t turn it off fully, and the fan speed stays constant. There are options to turn the display off but no dimmer, and night mode turns down the fan speed automatically overnight but I don’t want the speed to go down. Other than that though, I’m very happy with this fan.
