I love this shampoo bar! I ordered a 2nd one because of how much I love it! The first bar lasted a very long time, but I wash my hair less often than the average person.
This bar is so easy to use. I wet my hair down. Then, I rub the bar lightly onto my hair, in one direction only, in a downward direction to not rough up or damage my hair. I also rub the bar in my hands and apply more of the soap to my hair with my hands. It does not suds up much because of natural ingredients, so do not expect it to. However, this does not impact the cleaning factor. It does a fantastic job of cleaning my hair! I focus on massaging my scalp when washing to get the oil out.
I can’t believe the difference in my hair after using this bar for about 6 months. It’s soft, strong, and has really been on a growth spurt! The one thing I’ve really noticed is how the ends of my hair are thicker and stronger, not thinning out, and not fraying as it grows. This has never happened to me before. My hair is also the longest it’s ever been. And, it’s not as dry as usual. My hair feels sturdy and strong. I do have fine hair, which used to break and be easily damaged. No more. It’s still fine, but now it’s strong, doesn’t break, and it’s healthy looking.
The smell is so nice! I feel like I’m in a spa. This bar of soap lasted me quite awhile. It lasted longer than I thought it would. Originally, I kept it in the packaging it came in as recommended. But now, I’m keeping this 2nd bar on a soap dish. I’m going to see if it changes the length of time it lasts. I didn’t like pulling it in and out of the packaging when using it in the shower. This is just a personal preference.
I’ve been on a long, long journey of many years with my hair. I started with using coconut oil as a deep hydrating treatment twice a week. This worked well. Then, I only washed my hair every 3rd day after sleeping with the coconut oil in my hair. Eventually I went to washing only once a week. Now, I wash my hair twice a month. I use dry shampoo occasionally. Mostly I use arrowroot powder as a dry shampoo, in between washes, every few days to absorb oil. It also gives my hair a lift at the roots and added volume!
My hair is now wavy and slightly curly, where it used to be stick straight. It’s also longer than it’s ever been. This shampoo bar is part of my journey with hair and it’s optimum health! I highly recommend it. It took a few months for me to first start noticing the difference, but I have noticed a huge difference!

Lasts forever!
I love the way this shampoo makes my hair feel! It does a good job of removing oil without drying out my scalp or the ends of my hair. My hair feels healthier after using this for two months. The fragrance is pleasant enough, but it is quite strong. If scents bother you, I recommend the unscented bar. It lasts a lot longer than I anticipated, because a little goes a long way and I do not wash my hair every day. Pair this shampoo with a scalp massager for a relaxing, thorough, refresh.

I knew about the rice benefits for the hairs, and as an old lady, I was in desperate needing of a solution to my problem. My gray hairs still long, but they were getting thinner, dryer, they were breaking easily and I was losing too much of them.
After a long search on Internet, I found that manufacturer. I was about to order directly from them the product type that was dedicated to my hair problem and, surprise, I also found it here, on Amazon, with an approximate same price, but with the faster Prime delivery, that to say that I did not hesitate another second, and I ordered.

Only after a few shampoo and conditioner, I would say a dozen, my hair started to show a true improvement : they have more body, they are easier to comb because they no longer tangle, they are less dry and more resistant and they start to grow again. What else can I say ?… To name some other strong qualities of their products, I will mention that I believe they are truly natural for I do have a severe allergic reaction to the regular market chemical beauty products (what I already mention in some other reviews when I miraculously found some true natural essential oils) , including shampoos and conditioners. Even the smell does not bother me, on the contrary. I find it marvellously pleasant, so marvellously pleasant that I would spend hours in the shower every time that I use it. What a change !
I’m not intending to convince anybody here, every human being is different and everyone will react differently toward a product. The only way to know if it is good for us is to try it, and that is what you gone have to do.
But as far as I’m concern, I’m sold. I love the result, I truly enjoy the touching of it on my fingers and my hairs… and I love the smell !

I have type 3b curls which are dry, brittle, coarse and frizzy. I have tried expensive curly hair products, salon products, everything. I just gave up and decided to go as natural as possible and live with the frizz. This bar served two functions: A: no plastic bottle. (I like the clever packaging). B: Pretty natural ingrediants. I decided on this, along with a conditioner bar.
Well paint me surprised. This product is an absolute game changer. My hair is so soft, moisturized and shiny. Now, keep in mind, I do a few other things too. I use homemade flax gel to style my curls, very little heat and break the crunch with a small amount of coconut oil. This extra step does help A LOT with my hair being in better shape. But it was not nearly as effective before I switched to this product. They have a life long customer here.
BTW, the garden one is divine. And you use VERY LITTLE. I have shoulder-length, layered hair which I am growing out. You need very little of this product. It lathers beautifully, and my hair gets “sqeaky” clean….but not tangled, at it’s current length. Combined with the conditioner, which takes a bit of getting used to….use sparingly, my hair feels amazing, and so does my scalp. I shampoo and condition twice to three times per week.

I’ve been watching these shampoos for a few months now and got them on Amazon for a fair price. The Citrus Yao smells like artificial oranges but it’s pleasant enough. My hair didn’t retain the smell though after washing.
Really good shampoo bar. I have been using solid shampoos for a year now and I find that other brands lather more, but I wasn’t disappointed with the foam it made. My hair felt a little dry and tangled after washing but when dry, felt clean light weight and soft.
I wash my hair twice a week so wanted something a little more cleansing. I’m happy with this shampoo, but not saying I won’t be buying different ones in the future.
