Great extra security lighting around the house
Installed in a dark corner of the exterior of the house. It was easy to install, like that the light gets brighter when motion is detected. Just what we were looking for.

Love them
I have a very large poorly lit yard. I bought one pack of two a year ago. They held up, they work fantastic -they’ve gotten a little discolored, but they still work great. I bought more to go along the backside of my fence. I’m kind of skeptical about solar powered lights, because after a few hours or even a few months, they get dim and stop working, but these just keep going and they are definitely worth it! 10/10

no real issues
it works. first of all this thing is tiny. maybe the size of your hand. not that bright. i guess if you just need a solar light and you needed it to work around areas where you can get sunlight in a certain area and run the light area to a place where there is no sunlight then yes this will help you out. so if you know you can use the length of the wire to get light in a area where sunlight is not possible then you can make use of this. i probably would not get this again depending on the situation. if you have direct sunlight in ALL situations then i would get something with high lumens. higher lumens = more brightness or so they say.i take that back on brightness. when it detects motion it is quite bright and covers a good area. depending on the height you install it. i installed it about 8 or 9 feet and it is quite bright for its small size. however if you constantly set the motion off it will use up the battery fast.3rd edit: going to bump it to 4 stars. I said I wouldn’t get this same model before but I bought 2 more. The biggest reason is convenience. I learned some valuable lessons during my solar light quest and I come to conclusion that the area you’re trying to cover, height you install it, not expecting a street light from it and this item works as intended. During my solar lights quest I have bought one 600watt, 300watt, 150watt, lights slightly bigger than these, and now I have 4 of these. With that knowledge I now can focus these lights on a target area where I can simply zip tie these onto a fence and cover a smaller area where they will be very effective. If I could redo, I would have gotten 3 of the 150watt and 4 or 6 of these and have all the areas I needed covered. My point is make sure you have an idea of what you want to do and choose the right lights for that area and not make it do something it can’t. For example I stuck this in a 10 foot pole and thought it would cover the front yard.Edit (4): after the winter storm last week of January 2023, somehow these still managed to come on after about 5 to 6 days of clouds, snow, sleet, and rain. I don’t know if they are just battery efficient or they still managed to charge. 3 other different types of solar lights didn’t come on or were extremely dim. I’d say these have been very reliable and weathered the storm (no pun intended).edit (5): i bought 2 more. the others are still going strong without a hitch. i decided to get 2 more for sort of decoration, its effectiveness, and it is very discreet. i already zipped tied 2 to the front gate and the solar part of it blends in so well i cant even see it. while the light portion is very discreet and provides some decor. so i’m just trying to space them out to where they just look nice along the fence and very impressive and effective looking at night. noticing neighbors down the road are trying to light up their yards at night with solar as well. these have been very convenient, reliable, and i found so many places to put them while giving the yard a decorative look. a relative has been so impressed with all the solar i have done around the property that i bought a couple for her too.

Awesome solar light
These solar lights work better than expected. I Use it with a security camera for night viewing and they work great together. I like that they both have multiple functions and can be set up to work separately. The remote control is great to use if you want to turn off the lights when not needed or change to 1 of 4 different modes. Motion sensors are very good. Price is great for this product. Shipping was fast and was well packaged to prevent damage to product. Will definitely purchase more of these lights. Highly recommend.

You can light up your life
I purchased 8 of these for multiple projects.I have 1 installed near my cabin, on the south side where there is otherwise no light after dark. The range of motion detection is great, even through a tree that sits along side the cabin. The internal battery works great if you’re using these for periodic on/off with motion. The case is well sealed for both the light and the solar charging panel. The mounts for both the light and the solar panel are simple enough to install, or you can skip the base plate and just install direct if desired.I use several of these as hog lights over my feeders on my property. We have a persistent stream of hogs in from dusk to dawn. The light with the internal battery lasts about 2 hours when on constantly from the movement. I purchased 6v batteries and a 6v to 3.7 volt converter and use these 6v batteries to keep the lights operational and at full brightness, throughout the night. These seem to hold up well to the weather. We’ve had temps ranging from 5* to 85* since I installed them, in heavy wind and rain. So far (3 months) so good. The only negative comment I have, is that controlling the light is somewhat clumsy. After charging, you may push the button on the back, but that just triggers the light to flash a sequence for the setting you’ve selected. There is no “on” option, to test the brightness or confirm the light is charged properly. The remote triggers the same sequence flash. You can cover the sensor so that the light thinks it’s dark and then test, but that doesn’t allow for testing the motion perimeter. You just have to wait until it’s dark to do that. But, given the cost of these, that’s a small complaint for an otherwise great product.

Item is small, and did not work well
The item would not light very long even after in solar sun rays.

VERSATILE, BRIGHT FREE LIGHTING!
It’s great to be have a solar panel on the South wall in the sun and the LED lamp on the North wall in the shade where light was needed ! My front door is recessed and gets very brief sunlight but I need to see my keys if entering door at nighttime this has solved that problem since the very long wire permits the solar collector to be located where the sun is strong facing south! The LED lamp has several settings depending on how much sun power is available. So I first tried the dusk to dawn maximum light setting but it didn’t stay on till dawn as the sun exposure wasn’t long enough. Then I set it for low light until motion detected setting and it lasted until dawn (except if raining all day!!) on bright light days! In my carport the other unit has the solar collector on the south backyard wall so it gets sun most of the day and the LED lamp stays bright longer on a North inside wall making my vehicle more secure from cat converter robbers! Great results with electricity for FREE!
